This simple Ravioli lasagna dish includes layers of store-bought ravioli, thick Bolognese sauce, and béchamel for the ideal warming dinner. It’s perfect to prepare ahead of time and serve on cold nights.
How to prepare Ravioli Lasagna.
If you’ve made Bolognese and Bechamel sauces, assembling this dish is simple. If not, use my recipes or your favorite versions to prepare them. You can substitute ricotta for Bechamel, but I prefer the latter’s smoothness. Layer uncooked or frozen ravioli with Bolognese and Bechamel in a baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella between layers for extra cheese. Finish with more mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Take 15-20 minutes for baking until bubbly and golden. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then serve garnished with fresh basil.
How To Store Ravioli Lasagna
If you want to store the remaining Ravioli Lasagna then seal it tightly in another tight container and keep it in the refrigerator. It will last from three to five days. Use a microwave or air fryer to reheat it. Do not try to reheat it again and again as reheating it again and again may affect its texture. When you make it, try to finish reheating it for the first time only.
To make it very easy, put uncooked or frozen Ravioli with bolognese and béchamel in a baking dish. For cheese, sprinkle mozzarella in between the layers to make it look more attractive and delicious. Add more mozzarella and parmesan on top. Bake it for 15 to 20 minutes, until it becomes bubbly. Let it rest for a good 15 to 10 minutes. You can serve it later with fresh basil and serve.
Ravioli Lasagna Tips
What do you serve with ravioli lasagna?
Ravioli lasagna goes perfectly with your favorite garlic bread for soaking up that delicious marinara sauce. If you want to add a pop of color, try pairing it with cooked vegetables like broccoli or corn. For a lighter option, you can also serve a fresh side salad.
Can you make ravioli lasagna with refrigerated ravioli?
If you are using refrigerated (not frozen) ravioli, simply adjust the baking time. Bake for 30-35 minutes instead of 40-45 minutes to keep the ravioli from becoming soggy.
Want to try this in a slow cooker?
It’s easy! Simply add the lasagna to the slow cooker without greasing it and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
Can I cook this ravioli lasagna in a crockpot?
I love this idea! Cooking will be so much easier if you use a crockpot instead of the stovetop. Stack all of your ingredients in the crockpot and cook on low for 3-4 hours. This method will infuse even more flavor, creating a tender, beautiful, and delicious meal. Enjoy the convenience of using a crockpot!
